- MemWin and KMemWin are tools for displaying free memory in the frontmost
- application -- the first shows memory in bytes and the second shows it in
- kilobytes (hence the K). In both programs, the window always floats above
- all other programs and windows, but can be hidden by typing Cmd-Escape.

- They require the Text Services Manager of System 7.1 or later, so
- if you dont have System 7.1 you are out of luck. Both are implemented
- as System Extensions (actually background only programs), so place
- whichever one you like into the Extensions folder.

- The software is free for posting, sharing, and putting on CD-ROMS. The
- source is available for implementing similar hacks if you are interested.
